College List Package
This package is for current 11th graders and includes a one-hour meeting with the student to discuss strengths, interests, and profile, and what the student is looking for in a college experience. Then, using the information from the one-hour meeting, a parent input form, and information from the student’s transcript, test scores, and resumé, a personalized list of approximately 15 colleges will be delivered. After the student receives the list of approximately 15 colleges, a final, one-hour meeting with the student and parents will occur to discuss the colleges on the list and what makes them a good fit.
College Essay Support
This option includes completion of every aspect of the college essay from brainstorming to outlining to revising and editing. All work with the student and for the student (editing between meetings, emails, etc.) will be included in the time purchased. It takes most students 5+ hours to complete one personal statement essay or two short answer essays.
Advisors will not write essays for students.
Hourly Consulting
This option is for students/families who want support with a specific aspect of the application process (choosing classes/activities, starting a resumé, reviewing a completed application, etc.). All work and communication with the student/family is included in the hour(s) purchased. This option is not for students who want/need ongoing support.
Families who purchase hourly consulting and later sign with us for comprehensive advising will receive $100 off for each hour previously purchased.
